29. FIREFLY
Tranquil dons of light
beauty scatter your plight,
over fields green fires sit
arranging their lights to fit.
How we long for the mating call,
dined in a heavenly hall
as darkness covers the wall
like a misty pall.
To bring some words of light
to the green smiling bright,
for silence and obedience
needs a dark release.
The problem of heavenly nights
is that we fight the luminous facts.
